1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using LinguaPath, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account (or the minimum age in your country)
- If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent
- You are responsible for ensuring your use of LinguaPath complies with local laws
3. Account Rules
- One Account Per Person: Each individual may only create and use one account
- No Credential Sharing: You may not share your login credentials with others
- Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- Accurate Information: You must provide accurate information when creating your account
4. Free Trial & Payment
Free Content
A1 Modules 1-2 are available free of charge without requiring payment information. This allows you to experience our teaching methodology before making a purchase.
Paid Content
- All content beyond A1 Modules 1-2 requires a one-time payment
- Payment grants you lifetime access (defined as the lifetime of the LinguaPath product)
- All sales are final - see our No Refund Policy
- Prices may change, but your purchased access remains unaffected
5. Licence Grant
When you purchase LinguaPath, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to access and use the course materials for your own educational purposes.
You may NOT:
- Share, distribute, or resell any course content
- Copy or reproduce materials for commercial purposes
- Use automated tools to scrape or download content
- Reverse engineer the platform or assessment systems
- Share or publish assessment answers
6. Certificates
- Certificates are issued automatically upon passing a level assessment with 80% or higher
- Certificates are for personal achievement and portfolio purposes
- LinguaPath is not an accredited examination body - our certificates are not equivalent to official qualifications (e.g., IELTS, Cambridge English, TOEFL)
- Certificates may be revoked if obtained through cheating or if you initiate a chargeback
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Cheat on assessments or use external assistance
- Share assessment answers with others
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
- Attempt to access content you have not paid for
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users or staff
- Upload malicious code or attempt to hack the platform
- Use LinguaPath for any illegal purpose
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms of Service
- Engage in cheating or fraud
- Initiate a chargeback without contacting us first
- Share your account with others
Upon termination for violation, you will lose access to all content and no refund will be provided.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on LinguaPath - including lessons, exercises, assessments, graphics, and code - is owned by LinguaPath or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Your licence to use the content is limited as described in Section 5.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
LinguaPath is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- Specific learning outcomes or language proficiency improvements
- Results on external examinations (IELTS, TOEFL, etc.)
- 100% accuracy of all content (we strive for accuracy but occasional errors may occur)
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LinguaPath's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, unless local consumer protection laws require otherwise.
